Pastoral care must be tracked for their over 1400 congregants, as well as the synagogue’s finances—this includes donations, foundation grants, school tuition and enrollment, as well as dues from members of the congregation. There is also the added challenge of keeping track of some of the most meaningful events in their congregants’ lives. With all of this important information to handle, it’s easy for staff to feel overwhelmed and disorganized.
Not only did we develop robust membership management functionality that allowed Rodeph Shalom to track important financial information, we also created a community where members can easily view and update their personal details while connecting with their fellow congregants. They can even register their children for classes offered by Rodeph Shalom and update staff about major life changes, all from the same place. The result is a simplified and streamlined synagogue membership management system that enables them to focus more of their energy on serving their congregation and less on data entry.
After using our solutions for only a month, they’ve already seen significant improvements over their legacy processes. With the newly implemented cloud application, the staff at Rodeph Shalom has found that the amount of time that it takes to enter information has been largely reduced, and there is far greater ease of running reports. They are able to see all interactions with a member in one place, instead of having to resort to swivel-chair tactics to sort and sift through various sources for each correspondence and activity.
